Using the website http://www.tagxedo.com/app.html create a wordcloud with the words that you want to review in class.
When rolled over the words are highlighted.
To practise offline, capture a swf video with Jing, a video caster tool. Play it in class.
The wordcloud was created with a photo of my choice, here THE AVENGERS with the theme of ANGER.

To tell the truth, I was a bit skeptic when trying out the new script Flubaroo to automatically grade tests.
All you need is a Gmail account and to create a form.
Whenever you are testing vocabulary and all you expect is words it’s just fine.
All you have to make sure is that your instructions are crystal clear.
Also, you have to answer the test yourself so that you will’ be able to set the correct set of answers and this is it…
Of course, you’ll have to set up the Flubaroo script from the Script Gallery…
This morning, I felt amazing, I hope you do too…

Someone on Twitter recommended the following website the other dayTRICIDER and soon enough I realized that it could be a great tool for interacting with the students and for getting them to react on an issue.
We had been working on GMOs and technological advances. That’s why I posted four questions on the subject and they started adding ideas and arguments easily. All they needed to do was to log in either with Facebook or Google accounts. It’s free and no one else can delete their posts.
They can also add an image to their ideas.
Once they start typing and posting, I can visualize what they are doing, can even export an excel file and can get a summary into my mailbox.
I’m going to use this feature to come up with the best and worst arguments and ask the students either to correct or improve them.
It’s always been a challenge to get them to write essays and make them realize what it takes to organize their ideas. Here they can easily see what they are supposed to do.
It was a first shot this afternoon and it worked really well.
They could even vote for each other’s ideas.
Here is an example of what they have been up to:
